PARNASSOS SKI RESORT

With the new state-of-the-art dismantling lifts in Kellaria and Fterolaka, Parnassos Ski Resort is now on the list of top ski resorts in the Balkans.

In 2014, the first phase of its modernization was carried out for Kellaria. The new state of the art Combi-type lift, called “Aphrodite-Bacchus”, includes the 8-seat cabin “Venus” and the detachable 6-seater chairlift and 8-seat cabin “Bacchus”. The two lifts are connected to the 1950 Kellaria Intermediate Station and are designed to operate either jointly or independently.

In December 2015, the second phase of modernization was completed, this time in Fterolaka. The old lifts “Hera 7”, “Iniohos 6” and the connecting “Hermes” were replaced with new detachable lifts.

Skiing overlooking the sea

In many places of the ski area there is a visual contact with the Corinthian and the Evoikos gulf. The possibility of skiing overlooking the Greek seas, lifts the overall skiing experience to new heights.

Slopes

There are two ski areas in the Parnassos ski resort, the Kellaria and the Fterolaka, which have:
21 slopes and 7 ski runs, 5 connecting paths, 4 mini beginner slopes with baby lifts with a total length of 34 km. The slopes begin at 2260 m. and reach up to 1640 m. altitude, while their length extends between 300 m. and 4 km. The fans of powder snow will find several off-road freeride routes. There are also 2 Snow Fun parks in Kellaria and Fterolaka. Four of the slopes, the No.6 Honor, No.8 Heracles, No 9 Odysseus and No 2 Bacchus, are certified by the International Ski Federation (F.I.S Homologation) for hosting international ski races.
